New SAR members with Fr. Provincial and concelebrants

The Tagaste chapter of the Secular Augustinian Recollects welcomed two new professed members into the fraternity in a concelebrated Mass at 7:00 PM on December 1. Fr. Joseph Gallardo, Prior Provincial, presided at the Mass and received the promises from Landry Belizaire and Daniel Murphy after the homily, which was preached by Fr. John Oldfield. Among the concelebrants were Fr. Ramón Gaitán, prior of Tagaste, and Fr. John Gruben, SAR spiritual director.

Joining the celebration in addition to family members of the newly professed were SARs from the Tagaste and St. John chapters. After Communion, Fr. Provincial invited the community to share a fraternal embrace with the Landry and Dan. Following the Mass, SAR members together with family and friends of the newly professed enjoyed cake and refreshments in the Guild Hall.
