The Pius X Guild of Tagaste hosted its annual Communion Breakfast on Sunday, December 5. Fr. Ramón Gaitán, prior, was the main celebrant, accompanied by Frs. John Oldfield and John Gruben and assisted by Dn. Ramiro Muñoz at a 10:30 Bilingual Mass in the Tagaste chapel. Some 150 Guild members and friends of Tagaste from the Hispanic Community were present for the Mass.

After Mass all went to the Guild Hall where they were served sandwiches, fruit and cheese platters, cake and cookies. Refreshments included apple cider, hot chocolate, and coffee. The Tagaste choir led the group in a lively sing-along of Christmas carols in both English and Spanish, and Santa Claus (Joe Nappo) brought goodies for all the children who were present. There was also a raffle with the prizes being two antique dolls. All enjoyed the pre-Christmas celebration.
