The Tagaste chapel was filled to overflowing as the faithful gathered on December 11 to celebrate the Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe. Over 200 people were present for the 10:30 PM vigil Mass. Fr. Ramón was celebrant and homilist; Frs. John Oldfield and John Gruben and Dn. Ramiro Muñoz assisted at the Mass. The chapel was beautifully decorated with the traditional scene of the Virgin appearing to St. Juan Diego at Tepayac made by Dn. Ramiro, and the people, as usual, brought an abundance of beautiful roses as offerings.

Some of the children were dressed in traditional Mexican garb for the occasion and assisted at the Offertory. After Communion Fr. Ramón blessed many devotional images brought by the people. The celebration continued with an extended period of prayer, singing, and refreshments in the Guild Hall.
