Fr. John Oldfield selects the winning ticket for the 50/50 prize

The Pius X Guild of Tagaste sponsored its annual Italian Night at the Monastery on October 9, 2010 from 6:30 – 10:30 PM. Toni Martucci was chairperson for the evening. There was plenty of Italian food including baked ziti, eggplant rollatini, meatballs, chicken marsala, Italian bread, and salad. Dessert featured "fried bows" and cannoli. There was wine, lemonade, ice tea, and hot coffee to wash it all down. The Captain and Camille provided music for the occasion and featured a "Name that Tune" contest with songs from the 1950s and 1960s and prizes awarded to those who correctly guessed the name of the singer. There was also a 50/50 drawing. It was a delightful evening with a small but very animated crowd in attendance. Thanks once again to our Guild for another successful fund-raiser in support of Tagaste!
