Fra. Eric Crelencia received the Ministry of Reader at Tagaste Monastery on September 19 in conjunction with community Evening Prayer and Benediction. Fr. Provincial, Joseph Gallardo, presided at the ceremony. The Ministry of Reader is the first of the traditional "minor orders" given in preparation for advancement to the priesthood. It identifies the recipient as one who officially reads the Sacred Scriptures at liturgical services. Fra. Eric is currently studying second year theology at Immaculate Conception Seminary, South Orange, New Jersey.
