Everybody likes Italian food! That certainly was the case for the crowd that showed up at Tagaste for the Tagaste Guild's annual fall dinner-dance. Some 100 people including our friends from the Sons of Italy, the Hispanic community and our Guild members and SARs enjoyed the pasta (baked ziti) that was served up with sausages and peppers, chicken Marsala, eggplant rolatini, salad with Italian dressing and bread. Dessert was home-made Strufoli ("honey strips") and Italian cookies.
Wine was served with the meal along with coffee and tea. Music for the occasion was once again provided by "The Captain and Camille" who present a variety of recorded and live music from the 50s right up to the present, keeping everybody happy and lots of folks out on the dance floor. Door prizes were given out and there was a raffle with the prize being a painting entitled "City of God" by Fr. Frank Wilder, OAR... It was a great evening. "È stato una Buona Serrata."
