Bargain hunters welcome! On November 17 the Pius X Guild held its annual Arts & Crafts sale. Fifteen dealers were present in the Guild Hall for this fund-raiser with a variety of merchandise offered at discount prices.
Some of the "booths" featured seasonal items for Thanksgiving and Christmas.
There were a great many hand-knit items, from blankets to baby clothing. There was jewelry and creative art work as well as small electronic equipment such as CD players and toaster ovens, much of it brand new. Many of the items for the Tagaste booth were donated from old and new friends of the monastery.
Refreshments included home-made soup, rolls, and coffee. The event was coordinated by Guild president, Peggy Evans.
