PRE-THANKSGIVING DINNER

The Hispanic community of Suffern sponsored a pre-Thanksgiving dinner in the Guild Hall at Tagaste after the 10:30 AM Mass on November 18. About 130 people including the community attended the event which featured the traditional turkey and trimmings.

The dinner was chaired by Antonio Elera who also recited a moving narrative describing the first Thanksgiving accompanied with photographs projected on a large screen. It was a most appropriate way for the whole community to be together to give thanks before the more intimate family gatherings on Thanksgiving Day.
