The Guild sponsored a Garage Sale in the hall of the Monastery on Saturday, November 18 from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Most of the items left over from the Flea Market (September 9) were sold along with home-made soup and other refreshments. A number of dealers were also on hand so that the hall was full.
Fr. Oldfield had a book sale and sold a number of copies of Bishop of the Barrio, the new biography of Alphonse Gallegos. There was also a cake sale with many Guild members and friends donating cakes for the occasion. The day was an all-around success and netted the Guild more than $1000 for the benefit of Tagaste.
