The Guild of Tagaste Monastery sponsored a Ziti Dinner on October 14 from 5:00PM – 8:00 PM in the Guild Hall. It was an informal occasion at which you helped yourself from the serving line. Some 80-90 people came to enjoy ziti, Italian salad, bread, and canoli cake, as well as a variety of refreshments—wine, coffee, and soft drinks.
The cook for the occasion was Marcy O'Brien, ably assisted by Peggy Evans, Mercedes Gabella, Joe Nappo, and Janet and Mike Nolan. There was a 50/50 as well as several raffles and door prizes. The Tagaste students sang a number of songs in English and Spanish.
The event was a financial success and another opportunity to strengthen the bonds between the Tagaste community and its many friends.
