THE CONVERTED MARTIANS
There were two Martians who, on a Sunday evening, decided to take a trip to the planet Earth before sunset. They traveled in a small spaceship at the speed of light. While they were gliding in on a huge city they saw, at a short distance, a great multitude of people entering an edifice with their heads down as if they were worried about something. The two visitors decided to land in the parking lot of that building. The spaceship smoothly ejected them permitting them to mix with the people entering the edifice. The line of people entering the building caught the Martians attention. They wanted to know what was happening there; they had no idea it was a church.

Seeing the people taking seats in the pews, they did likewise. That day the priest preached about the great love Jesus had for mankind. It was so great that He gave up his own life for all human beings. Also, the priest said that same Jesus promised to all who would believe in his Word, a new life, a glorified life where all peoples will enjoy peace and happiness.

The Martians were stunned by what they heard and said to one another, "how could it be possible for a man to be so good and generous?" Then, one asked the other, but why does everyone look so sad if Jesus made such a captivating promise"? The other replied, "It seems that a few believed in that man. At this, both Martians decided to apply for citizenship on the planet earth and exclaimed with a strident voice a la Martian. WE DO BELIEVE AND ARE HAPPY!
