Province of St. Augustine and Delegation of St. Nicholas of Tolentine
From the 8th to the 10th of April the province of St. Augustine and Delegation of St. Nicholas of Tolentine held a vocation retreat at Tagaste Monastery. Fr. José Luis Martínez, Fr. Alberto Fuentes and Deacon Matthew Alejo, as vocation leaders prepared the program.
The participants joined the community in the office of the liturgy and observed the Augustinian way of life. Fr. José Luis Martínez spoke about St. Augustine life up to his conversion, and Fr. Alberto Fuentes spoke about St. Augustine life from his conversion to his last days of life.
Fra. Sergio Bañuelos, prepared a traditional Mexican dish as part of the menu. The retreat ended with the Spanish community celebrating the Sunday Mass. Fr. José Luis Martínez moved by the Holy Spirit, exhorted the participants to live their Christian lives with clear convictions and with God's help in a world of materialism.
